Ezio used the same climbing system as Altair, with the added option of what was basically a "climbing sprint." Holding down the sprint button would make Ezio start speed climbing after a few seconds. I personally rarely used it because I loved the realism the slow, methodical climbing brought to those early games. Haven't played an AC since Black Flag.

The differences will be size and scope, traversal, and a weak narrative. Versus, pretty graphics, strong narrative, and choreographed traversal. I think the combat will be similar, but Jim's samurai bag will be deeper with the 4 stances (I saw two). They basically split one character into two, bad choice unless the narrative is surprisingly strong. I don't see that working, but maybe they aren't going for the serious tone. I forsee a bunch of Ghost fans being upset that this isn't Ghost 2 and we have to settle for this.

5:02 while it is true that he can climb up those mountains, it still isn’t true that he can climb up ANYTHING. There are buildings and walls/pillars he cannot climb because there are no cracks in them.

Idc about realism in a game and realism isn’t what you guys liked when you played prince of Persia the whole pioneer for parkour mechanics in this game

AC1 was in a league of its own. Even during Ezio's games, the parkour wasn't as good.

Altair climbing is the most fun to me, but i think Ezio had the best mechanics in his first 2 games. It still had that slight puzzle element while also being quicker.

I think that Unity's Parkour was the best of the series. Pitty that It was unfinished at launching, because it's most impressive until today. Seems like an actual game, with very nice graphics, parkour and plot. I also liked the combat system, that was more realistic.

Black flag part was made wrong, Edward had the base health, not the maximum, while adewale had it

Valhalla is crap, Odyssey has a great world and Origins is best overall.

Older AC games slow climbing allso served another purpose for me. It challenged me to use cover system for follow quests. Made them interesting. Later I just used to climb buildings and follow easily.

Ac shadows has different system to tsushima, their similarities is that they are next gen video game system.... Be grateful ac animation did not end like rise of ronin (the game and story is amazing but animation is unrealistic) and plus ac can wall run and use two characters

bad faith arguement as evidenced by using the 2 very specific buildings in origins where you can just hold up and go kinda because they dont have ledges or windows lol no third building? hmm i wonder why . I garuntee a real parkour artist would crap all over AC 1 for how slow altair is. if real parkour was that slow theyd constantly be arrested irl lol. what a punk arguement being made.

What i dont get is why assassins choose to wear such flamboyant outfits (AND YES I KNOW ITS TO MAKE THEM LOOK FROM A DESIGN PERSPECTIVE THATS NOT LOST ON ME) but like out of all the outfits arnos outfit is literaly the most versatile at being able to blend in ANYWHERE cus its literaly just normal clothes and its probably putting less weight on his body so he can be more nimble and free to move faster and such.

Hello AKG! I don't know if you will read this comment, and i don't know if you take requests for future videos, but if you do, can i suggest an "Assassin's Creed" evolution video idea? It's about the "stealing" mechanic of the series, since in each game the robbing seems to change most of the time, sometimes it's instant like in the Ezio trilogy, and others you have to wait until you can rob an npc like in AC 4: Black Flag

As a christian, I have to say that the lore of assassins creed would make no sense if the characters knew of the ISU and still continued to be practicing members of their faith. The only ones we really have any concrete examples of religious beliefs are 3, maybe 4. 1.) We know for certain Altair was a practicing Muslim. 2.) Connor appeared to be atheistic if not at least agnostic given his comments during Achilles funeral. 3.) Kasandra is Greek and believed in the greek pantheon of gods...which technically means her relgious believed are affirmed since in assassins creed, the ISU are the Greek Gods. 4.) Ezio never really gives any definitive answer on religious beliefs and while Edward was probabaly brought up religiously, pirating is not a really good way to end up in heaven.
